TalkTalk comes up with optimistic changes in its services

TalkTalk, which is UK’s leading broadband provider, has announced that they have made changes to their existing broadband bundles. One of the changes, all of their Essential customers will have their access speeds upgraded.

Want a new telephone line, reconnect or switch calls to BT online? Just choose a BT Home Phone and Calling Plans.

Now all their essential customers will be getting access speeds up to 24 Mbps without any additional cost. And for Pro customers, their speeds will no longer be affected due to traffic shaping in P2P networks. And with every connection customers would be given wireless router free of cost. Plans also include various call plans like evening and weekend or anytime calls as per plans chose by customers. Starting plans come with a download limit of 40GB per month and contract period of 18months.

But the bad news for customers is that TalkTalk has raised the price of paper bill. Previously it was £1.25 and now it’s been increased to £1.45. And acquiring a new connection will now cost £69.99. They have also now discontinued the free call offer that they were offering to new customers. They decided this after they got feedback from customers that free call scheme wasn’t that attractive for them to opt for new connection.
